I have been into and loved house music since 1986, being from Milton Keynes, we were exposed to The Sunrise Parties, the first illegal acid house parties, where I cut my teeth on Carl Cox, Todd Terry, Eddie Richards, Mr C and still one of my favourites Little Louie Vega and kenny Dope, The Masters at Work. House has been in my blood ever since, going from acid house to deep house, hardcore, us house, speed garage and virtually every type of house you can imagine. Ending up eventually at soulful house, I like anything funky and that makes you wanna dance, thats the vibe I try and create when I am mixing, I will be dancing as much as anyone else, I like to party so behind or in front of the decks makes no difference, I do get down
I grew up listening to 80's soul, funk reggae, hip hop, rare groove jazz funk, love Jamiroquai for the vibe and good feeling they manage to generate, with so much energy. Acid house, garage, intelligent jungle, Soca or reggae, but all roads always leads back to house.
